WNAM REPORT: JSC “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” (TULM) continues regular transportation of humanitarian cargo from the Republic of Turkey to Afghanistan, increasing the volume of transportation.
From September-October 2024, the company accepted wagons with vegetable oil traveling from the Biçerova station (Izmir province, Turkey) via the Etrek station, one of the largest infrastructure centers of Turkmenistan. At this station, products are reloaded from Turkish wagons into CIS wagons for further shipment to the Afghan stations of Hairatan and Turgundi.
It is worth noting that JSC “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” has been receiving and transshipping humanitarian cargo sent from various stations in Turkey at the Etrek station since September-October 2021. The company plans to continue using the capabilities of the Etrek station for these purposes in the future.
