Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING): From 5 to 7 November 2024, Uzbekistan made a strong presence at one of the world’s largest international tourism exhibitions, “World Travel Market London – 2024.”
A delegation from the State Committee for Tourism, led by Chairman Umid Shadiev, presented the country’s tourism potential, highlighting its rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as the modern development of tourism infrastructure and the hospitality sector.
At the unified stand of Uzbekistan’s tourism brand, visitors had the opportunity to explore unique attractions, historical monuments, and the country’s modern tourism offerings.
The event also featured B2B business meetings between national tour operators and foreign companies interested in new tourism destinations. This provided a platform for attracting attention to Uzbekistan as a promising tourist destination and creating new opportunities for cooperation.
“World Travel Market London – 2024” brought together over 4,000 tourism companies and participants from more than 180 countries, including hotel chains, tour operators, airlines, and online platforms. The event attracted more than 43,000 tourism professionals.
By traditionally participating in this prestigious event, Uzbekistan continues to highlight its potential as an attractive tourist destination and aims to draw the global tourism community’s attention to its beauty and hospitality.
