WNAM MONITORING: On November 8, as Azerbaijan celebrates its Victory Day, the streets of Baku will resound with the rhythmic march of soldiers and the stirring music of military orchestras.
Baku Road Police Department has announced that military personnel, accompanied by orchestras, will parade along various streets and avenues in the city, following designated routes.
The military processions will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm along five routes, showcasing Azerbaijan’s military might and honoring the brave soldiers who fought for the nation’s victory. The routes include:
– Heydar Aliyev Palace – Bulbul Avenue – Nizami Cinema Center – Neftchilar Avenue – Azadlig Square – Amay Shopping Center
– Alley of Martyrs – Flame Towers complex – Icharishahar Metro Station – Istiglaliyyat Street – Azneft Circle – Bahram Gur Monument
– Yasamal Park – A. Hagverdiyev Street – H. Javid Avenue – Parliament Avenue – Alley of Martyrs
– Olympic Star Sports and Entertainment Center – S. Vurgun Street – Officers’ Park – Baku State Circus – Heydar Aliyev Palace – Nasimi Monument – Neftchilar Avenue
– N. Narimanov Monument – Central Park – Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre – Winter Park – Heydar Aliyev Palace – Central Bank – 28 Mall Shopping Center
Drivers are advised to take note of the temporary traffic disruptions along the parade routes, as the movement of vehicles will be regulated by the traffic police.
