WNAM MONITORING: According to Uzbekistan Airways, the LET L-410 aircraft landed at Tashkent International Airport and was solemnly welcomed.
The LET L-410 is a twin-engine regional aircraft developed by LET Aircraft Industries. It is designed for short routes and can carry up to 19 passengers.
The aircraft is top-rated for flights to remote regions of the country due to the ability to land on short runways and operate in difficult climatic conditions. The board will join the existing Silk Avia fleet for regional flights.
The Silk Avia fleet already uses two LET L-410 aircraft operating regular flights.
They transport passengers on the Nukus – Muynak route three times a week (on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays) and Tashkent – Shakhrisabz on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition, flights to Tashkent – Zaamin are operated daily.
