WNAM REPORT: A reception dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Uzbekistan was held in the House of Lords of the UK Parliament.
More than 70 representatives of the UK Parliament, ministries and agencies, research and analytical centers, higher education institutions, business circles in the United Kingdom, and employees of international organizations and compatriots attended the event.
At the opening ceremony, Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov acquainted the guests with the renewed Constitution of Uzbekistan, adopted last year based on the nationwide referendum, and noted its importance in the reform process.
It was emphasized that the Constitution serves as a solid foundation for building a legal democratic state, a strong civil society, free market relations and an economy based on the priority of private property, a peaceful, prosperous life of the people and strengthening the authority of Uzbekistan in the international arena.
