WNAM MONITORING: The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Council of Elders at his namesake Charity Fund on Tuesday, as reported by the news program Watan habarlary.
The meeting included elders from five velayats and Ashgabat, as well as the fund’s vice president, Rejep Bazarov. They discussed the fund’s current activities, achievements, and future plans.
Rejep Bazarov presented a detailed report, highlighting the fund’s success in implementing social projects.
The elders praised Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s contributions to the development of Turkmenistan. They acknowledged his significant role in strengthening domestic politics and enhancing the country’s international reputation.
Following the meeting, a ceremony took place to award the commemorative medal Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna and a memorial set in honor of the 300th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy.
