WNAM MONITORING: A ceremonial presentation of the book “The Phenomenon of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” took place in the capital of Azerbaijan in the National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov.
The event, which brought together representatives of culture and politics of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, is attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, deputy of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Vatan” Khusan Ermatov, honored journalist of Uzbekistan, writer Khurshid Dostmuhammad, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Isa Habibbayli, People’s Poet of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Mahmud Toir, as well as several public figures, writers and media representatives.
The book, written by Akif Bagirov, known under the pseudonym Akif Azalp, is a collection of journalistic essays selected from the works of political scientist Qudratilla Rafiqov. The materials included in the book – “Mening Prezidentim” (“My President”) and “Millatparvar” (“Patriot”) – highlight the key reforms and changes taking place in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Akif Bagirov, originally from Nakhchivan, has dedicated his life to introducing the Azerbaijani people to Uzbek literature, translating many works by Uzbek authors into Azerbaijani. In his work, he focuses on essential aspects of Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s policies, including economic development, modernization of infrastructure, improvement of the social sphere, and strengthening the international authority of Uzbekistan.
