The unwarranted war of attrition between the governor and CM KPK has made the holders of these two prime offices a laughing stock of the common man of this country. The allegations they trade against each other are unbecoming of their official status. No good comes out of them. What a pity that two persons belonging to the same district and closely related too should be washing their dirty linen in public. The holder of gubernatorial office in KPK had better focus on the tribal belt whose law and order is his primary responsibility and which has gone to the dogs instead of finding faults with CM of his province and the latter should also concentrate on solving bread and butter problems of the inhabitants of KPK instead of pulling the legs of the governor. Never before in the recent past had holders of these two important government offices been on such a war path.
Had the government appointed a proper person in the gubernatorial office in KPK, FATA would not have faced myriad law and order problems that it has been facing during the past couple of months. President Zardari is otherwise a sensible politician but he certainly erred in his choice of Governor for KPK. Amongst the strong contenders for this office Anwar Saifullah Khan stood head and shoulders above the others for a variety of reasons. He had practical experience of administrative service having worked on many field assignments as civil servant. He himself belonged to a tribe having deep links with tribal chieftains of both North and South Waziristan. To cap it all his track record as a Senator and Federal Minister inspired much confidence.

Winston Churchill used to sleep stark naked at night. He was staying in the White House during his tour of England adjacent to the room of the then American president Roosevelt who was his friend also. One morning Roosevelt who was physically handicapped and used wheel chair for his movement wanted to have a chat with him so while sitting on his wheel chair he went towards his room and had a knock at his door. When he saw Churchill opening the door stark naked he turned his face to other side on which Churchill told him Come on Mr. President the British prime minister has nothing to hide anything from any body.
Once while speaking in the House of Commons a lady member said Mr Speaker if I were wife of Churchill I would mix poison in the coffee cup of Churchill on which Churchill quipped Mr Speaker if I were her husband I would drink that cup of coffee.
