WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received congratulatory messages for the New Year from leaders of several countries, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Monday.
Among the senders are President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Chairman of China Xi Jinping, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Japan Shigeru Ishiba and his wife, as well as President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
In their messages, the leaders highlighted the successful development of cooperation with Turkmenistan in 2024 and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations. They expressed confidence in the continued development of strategic partnerships and wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov health and success in his state activities, while wishing the Turkmen people peace, well-being, and prosperity in the upcoming 2025.
The leaders noted significant progress in joint projects and expressed hope for their successful continuation. They paid special attention to strengthening trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and diplomatic ties, which contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation and stability in the region.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also received congratulations from the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy Abduaziz Kamilov.
