WEB DESK: In his New Year’s address to the people, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the continuation of targeted measures to provide economic incentives to workers in the fields, as per reports.
“In the past year, state purchase prices for cotton and wheat grown on our generous land were increased. Tireless farmers have brilliantly fulfilled their contractual obligations, having delivered to the state more than 1 million 400 thousand tons of selected grain: the harvested high yield of grain is the wealth of our native people and sovereign Fatherland, a source of abundance and prosperity. In the future, we intend to continue targeted measures to economically stimulate field workers and strengthen the material and technical base of the industry,” the head of state said.
