WNAM MONITORING: On the eve of the New Year, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva visited Palestinian children undergoing treatment in Uzbekistan, conveying greetings and good wishes from the Head of state.
“Despite all the difficulties, they have preserved the light in their souls and faith in miracles, which is truly admirable. I hope that attention and words of support will fill their hearts with hope for a better future. We wish peace and prosperity to them and the entire long-suffering Palestinian people”, Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized.
Recall that at the Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit held on November 11-13, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his readiness to provide free treatment to Palestinian women and children affected by the conflict.
As part of this exemplary initiative, 100 wounded Palestinian women and children, along with their accompanying persons, were evacuated to Uzbekistan on December 26. Evacuated patients are placed in rehabilitation centers and hospitals, receiving the necessary treatment and undergoing recovery. All expenses, including accommodation, food, education, and other needs, are fully covered by the Government of Uzbekistan.
