WNAM REPORT: Turkmenistan sent 15.2 thousand tons of tomatoes worth $8.9 million to the Kyrgyz Republic from January to October 2024.
Compared to the same period in 2023, this is 23% more: then 12.3 thousand tons worth $7.6 million were imported. This was reported citing data from the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
Turkmenistan is the largest supplier of tomatoes to Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan is in second place in terms of tomato supplies to the country (3,594.8 tons worth $2.8 million), and China is in third place (722.0 tons worth $947.9 thousand).
