Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING): As part of a visit by an Uzbek delegation to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dilshod Rasulov and Khalimjon Safarov, toured the Faisal China Pottery Works porcelain manufacturing plant on 12 February.
Founded in 1967, the factory is located in the industrial zone of Gujrat and specializes in the production of over 70 types of porcelain goods. Its products are exported to South America and Africa. The Uzbek representatives visited production workshops, familiarized themselves with the technological processes, engaged with employees, and held discussions with the company’s leading specialists.
During the visit, negotiations were also held with the Chairman of the Pakistan Porcelain Manufacturers Association, Adnan Iqbal. The Uzbek side presented detailed information on the country’s favorable investment conditions and incentives for foreign investors.
Given Uzbekistan’s significant kaolin reserves and their industrial potential, the discussions focused on prospects for joint investment projects. Both parties exchanged views on concrete measures to strengthen cooperation and outlined the next steps for implementation.
As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a Pakistani business delegation to Uzbekistan in March this year, during which work on investment projects will be further advanced.
