WNAM REPORT: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Astana Batyr Rejepov gave a lecture at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The lecture covered important anniversaries and initiatives of Turkmenistan, such as the 30th anniversary of Neutrality and the declaration by the UN General Assembly of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust at the initiative of Turkmenistan. This is stated in the message of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Rejepov emphasized the importance of the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness and good neighborliness, on which Turkmenistan’s policy is based. Thanks to the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan continues to expand its fruitful partnership with the international community, the diplomat noted.
According to the ambassador, over the past years, the evolution of Turkmenistan’s neutrality has proven its compliance with the basic values and goals of the UN, and has received recognition as a common asset of the world community.
At the end of the lecture, the head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission spoke in detail about the relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, which are characterized by friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, established by the leaders of the two countries.
The lecture participants listened with enthusiasm to the information about the work done by Turkmenistan during the years of Neutrality and actively participated in the exchange of questions after the lecture.
