Tashkent: (WNAM Monitoring): On 26 December, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks on the sidelines of the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg.
The heads of the two countries discussed the practical implementation of the agreements reached following the high-level visit to Russia on 5-7 October.
The importance of close interdepartmental coordination and practical interaction was noted in order to maintain the dynamics of trade growth and promote promising cooperation projects, including at the regional level of the two states.
An exchange of views on the regional agenda also took place.
