WNAM MONITORING: The international forum “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan” and an exhibition dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will be held in Ashgabat from March 17 to 19, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Information about this was announced at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Deputy Prime Minister Noker Atagulyev reported on preparations for the upcoming events and submitted a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report, emphasized the growing role of the private sector in the national economy of the country as a result of the development of domestic entrepreneurship. The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high organizational level of holding both the exhibition in honor of the anniversary of the UIET and the international investment forum.
The international forum is expected to become an important platform for attracting foreign investment in various sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan and strengthening business ties with foreign partners.
