WNAM REPORT: “To ensure the progress and betterment of Allama Iqbal Open University, we must adopt a balanced system of rights and responsibilities based on Islamic principles. All employees should perform their duties with honesty and integrity, and the administration will fully uphold their rights.” These were the words of the university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood during a meeting with the newly elected representatives of the Employees Welfare Association (EWA).
The meeting was led by EWA President Sher Asif Satti and attended by 11 newly elected members. The Vice Chancellor congratulated all elected office bearers on their success and expressed hope that they would play a key role in the university’s development while providing valuable advice to the administration.
EWA’s newly elected President, Sher Asif Satti, assured the Vice Chancellor of his full commitment to the university’s improvement and the protection of employees’ rights. He reaffirmed his dedication to taking all possible steps for the welfare of the employees and striving to meet their expectations.
Sher Asif Satti further emphasized that safeguarding the institution’s dignity is their top priority and that they will work alongside Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood for the university’s progress. He also appreciated the Vice Chancellor’s recent reform initiatives and expressed his determination to collaborate for the university’s development.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to the university’s growth, employee welfare, and the enhancement of academic standards.
