Turkmenistan widely celebrated International Women’s Day. In connection with the holiday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his congratulations to mothers, women, and girls, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Saturday.
“I sincerely congratulate you on International Women’s Day, widely celebrated in the early days of beautiful spring, when nature inspires and fills human hearts with enthusiasm!” the head of state said in his message.
The Turkmen leader also noted the contribution of the country’s women to the ongoing transformations and great achievements in Turkmenistan.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, various festive events are being held in all regions of Turkmenistan and in Ashgabat. In honor of the holiday, new residential buildings have also been put into operation.
