Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING): Tashkent generated US$1.49 billion in revenue from the export of tourism services, according to the city administration.
In 2024, the capital welcomed 4,050,900 foreign and 7,242,100 domestic tourists.
The total volume of foreign investments in the sector amounted to US$211.4 million.
The peak tourist flow was recorded in April, May, and June, a period marked by the active development of pilgrimage, educational, and MICE tourism in Tashkent.
Over the year, 213 new accommodation facilities opened in the capital, significantly enhancing comfort levels for visitors.
The number of tourism companies increased by 464, bringing the total to 2,067 organizations.
