WNAM REPORT: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal to establish a Joint Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Transport, Transit and Logistics. The decision was made at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held by the head of state on a digital system.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev presented a report on measures to develop cooperation in the field of logistics between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. According to him, the creation of the commission will contribute to the further activation of international transport and transit corridors in a number of areas.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report, emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to increasing transport and logistics cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic. The head of state approved the composition of the commission from the Turkmen side and instructed the head of the Agency to carry out the necessary work on its formation.
