WNAM MONITORING: The total amount of cashless transactions via bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 3.2 billion manat in January-February 2025, as reported by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan’s electronic journal, Bank habarlary.
In January-February of this year, the total amount of cashless payments made through terminals reached 2.79 billion manat.
In January-February 2025, the Central Bank reported that consumers spent over 315.8 million manat through e-commerce systems, and they carried out more than 4.5 million manat worth of cashless transactions through the Mobile Bank system.
ATMs processed more than 95.6 million manat in cashless payments, while the Internet Bank system handled over 791,600 manat in transactions.
According to the bank’s information, consumers made over 41.4 million manat worth of cashless transactions through the Halkbank Terminal system.
