At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on March 28, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov presented a report on preparations for the upcoming eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on Cooperation in the Energy Sector in April.
According to the report, the event will be held in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of key Turkmen departments, including the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, the State Concerns Türkmengaz, Türkmennebit and Türkmenhimiýa, the State Electric Power Corporation Türkmenenergo of the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Closed Joint-Stock Company Deňiz söwda floty.
Following the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of developing partnership with European countries, noting the friendly nature of Turkmen-Romanian relations. The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of organization of the upcoming meeting of the commission.
