WNAM REPORT: Julia Kronlid, Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag), who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting with the Chairperson of the Senate, Tanzila Narbayeva, the sides discussed the development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries and identified new areas of cooperation. The talks included the intensification of reciprocal visits, the exchange of legislative experience, and the strengthening of collaboration between parliamentary committees.An agreement was reached to enhance dialogue between committees and local Councils.
