WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the country’s national pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka on April 14 as part of his official visit to Japan, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.
During the visit, the Turkmen leader toured the pavilion and left a commemorative message in the Book of Honored Guests. Japan’s Minister for EXPO 2025, Yoshitaka Ito, also attended the event.
In his address, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the significance of Turkmenistan’s participation in the international exposition for strengthening cooperation and expanding the country’s foreign economic relations.
Visitors to the Turkmen pavilion were presented with a 3D animated video showcasing the nation’s culture, natural landscapes, and modern achievements. The second and third floors featured exhibits from the city of Arkadag, various ministries and agencies, and displays of national cuisine.
The pavilion, constructed by the Belli Economic Society, boasts a triangular architectural design symbolizing movement and development. Its dome is adorned with elements of national decorative arts, and the overall structure evokes the natural landscape of the Karakum Desert.
President Berdimuhamedov also attended a ceremonial event dedicated to Turkmenistan’s National Day, held as part of the World Expo.
