WNAM MONITRING : The international exhibition-fair “International Trade and Services” has opened in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, in conjunction with the conference “Ensuring Quality in Turkmenistan in Line with International Standards”, according to Turkmen official media.
On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants. “I am confident that such large-scale events will play a significant role in boosting international trade, improving the service sector, and promoting high-quality, eco-friendly products that meet international standards through the application of scientific and technological achievements,” the head of state stated.
The exhibition has brought together representatives of relevant ministries, agencies, international organizations, the private sector, and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The main focus is on strengthening foreign economic relations, promoting Turkmen exports, and exchanging up-to-date information on global trends in trade and services. Forum participants are discussing ways to expand market presence, certification mechanisms, and the use of digital marketing tools.
Organizers also emphasize support for small and medium-sized businesses, the development of business connections through B2B and B2G meetings, and the attraction of investment into priority sectors of the economy.
The exhibition covers areas such as agro-industrial complex, e-commerce, creative industries, and industrial production. The program includes expert consultations, panel discussions, and presentations of technological solutions.
The event will last for three days and is being held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry venue.
