WNAM Monitoring: In accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on purchasing two new passenger aircraft of the Boeing-777-300ER type from the Boeing company of the United States of America, the second of these passenger aircraft arrived at Ashgabat International Airport on Friday.
According to Turkmenistan Airlines, a new passenger aircraft of Boeing 777-300 ER landed at Ashgabat International Airport and joined the civil aviation of Turkmenistan.
The first aircraft of this type was delivered Turkmenistan’s national carrier on December 4, 2023.
The second-generation aircraft boasts advanced technology, superior performance, and exceptional comfort, accommodating 368 passengers. The seating configuration includes 40 business class, 32 premium economy, and 296 economy class seats.
Equipped with two “GE90-115BL2” engines, this aircraft has a flight range of 11,390 kilometres and can operate international flights with payloads of up to 40 tonnes.
