WNAM REPORT: One of South Korea’s leading television and radio broadcasters, KBS, presented a special program devoted to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential. A documentary program called “Journey through Uzbekistan: The Heart of the Great Silk Road” was broadcast and aroused broad audience interest.
The program presents Uzbekistan as a country with a unique combination of natural beauty, rich historical heritage, and distinctive culture. The audience was offered a virtual tour of ancient cities included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, where the past harmoniously coexists with the present.
As noted in the report, “Uzbekistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road, where amazing nature and historical grandeur are intertwined into a single symphony”. The project authors emphasize that the country not only attracts with its architectural splendor, but also carefully preserves spiritual and cultural traditions passed down from generation to generation.
The program focuses not only on tourism opportunities, but also on the cultural mission of Uzbekistan – strengthening humanitarian ties, promoting arts, crafts, and national cuisine, as well as expanding trade-economic cooperation with other countries.
The program creators note that Uzbekistan offers travelers not only new experiences, but also the opportunity to find inspiration, inner harmony, and a deep connection with the history of humanity.
The KBS project became part of efforts to promote Uzbekistan’s cultural and tourist image abroad. It once again confirmed the country’s status as one of the key centers of world cultural heritage.
