WNAM MONITORING: National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the first residential complex built in the city of Shusha.
According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha District, briefed the distinguished guests on the progress of restoration work.
The complex, which consists of 23 apartment buildings, covers an area of about 8 hectares. Its construction began in August 2021 at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan. A total of 450 apartments are planned: 28 one-room, 195 two-room, 190 three-room, 30 four-room and 7 five-room units.
Part of these buildings is designated as official housing for employees of government institutions in the city of Shusha. Currently, a total of 1,409 people live in the residential complex. Large-scale landscaping and green space development have been carried out around the complex.
