WNAM MONITORING: The 30th anniversary Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2025 forum will take place this October in Ashgabat. The event is expected to be one of the country’s largest and most innovative gatherings in the energy sector.
According to the forum organizers, more than 100 participants from over 60 countries have already registered.
Held under the motto “Energy. Innovation. Development,” the forum will bring together leading experts, investors and government representatives. Discussions will focus on Turkmenistan’s strategy for expanding gas exports and introducing renewable energy sources.
S&P Global Platts will serve as the forum’s knowledge partner, hosting closed roundtables on key topics in energy, petrochemicals and digital trading platforms. Technical sessions on carbon capture and underground gas storage will be led by experts from Gaffney Cline and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
The forum will also showcase Turkmenistan’s renewable energy projects, including a hybrid solar and wind power plant, and address measures to reduce methane and carbon dioxide emissions. Among the sponsors is Auguste International, which has made a significant technical contribution to the forum’s program.
