WNAM MONITORING: A modern residential and production complex with its own engineering, communication and industrial infrastructure is being built near Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr Lake. The new village will meet all urban standards of comfort, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Thursday.
In recent years, new villages — Galkynyş and Rowaç — have been built and commissioned in Balkan velayat’s Bereket and Kyzyl-Arvat districts.
The village of Rowaç was built in 2019 at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Agadurdy Goshaev, a tenant farmer from the Paraw farmers’ association, noted that the new house with four spacious rooms and all amenities has significantly improved his family’s living conditions.
The President of Turkmenistan’s Program for Transforming the Housing and Living Conditions of Villages, Settlements, District Towns and District Centers Until 2028 places a high priority on housing construction. In all regions of the country, phased development is underway, including the construction of high-rise apartment buildings, houses with enhanced comfort and improved layouts, and cottage-style homes.
