LONDON( WNAM REPORT ): Prominent UK-based Pakistani businessman Raja Muhammad Adil has emphasized that the British-Pakistani community can play a pivotal role as a bridge to strengthen economic relations between the United Kingdom and Pakistan. He highlighted the immense potential for bilateral trade, investment, and industrial collaboration, which can be further enhanced through effective diplomatic engagement, institutional partnerships, and private sector cooperation.
Raja Muhammad Adil expressed these views while hosting a grand dinner in honor of UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari and his family. The event was attended by Punjab Health Advisor Zahid Bakhtawari, Chairman Citizen Forum Abid Bakhtawari, Barrister Raja Jameel Adil, Khurram Abbasi, Sheikh Adil Nadeem and other distinguished guests.
Raja Muhammad Adil stated that the Pakistani diaspora in the UK is not merely a source of remittances but holds the potential to become a driving force in Pakistan’s economic revival and its standing in global trade. “What we need is to organize this community, harness their talents, and actively involve them in shaping Pakistan’s prosperous future,” he remarked.
Expressing gratitude for the dinner, Zafar Bakhtawari underscored the vital role that Pakistan’s business community and overseas Pakistanis can jointly play in stabilizing the national economy. He proposed initiatives through the UBG platform, including trade delegation exchanges, establishment of business forums, and organization of investment meetings.
During their discussion, Zafar Bakhtawari and Raja Muhammad Adil deliberated in detail on enhancing bilateral trade, investment, industrial cooperation, and fostering community partnerships between the UK and Pakistan. Zafar Bakhtawari appreciated Raja Muhammad Adil’s gracious hospitality and both agreed on further strengthening mutual engagements.
