WNAM REPORT: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held on August 5-8 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh leader.
“On August 5, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in the work of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries,” the statement said.
As previously reported, the conference will be attended by heads of 32 states, heads of government, delegations of UN member states, the Secretary-General of the Organization and his deputies. Representatives of international and regional organizations, legislative bodies, financial institutions, public associations and the private sector will also join the work.
Thematic exhibitions will be held at the conference venues, including expositions prepared by the Turkmen side. National days of the Central Asian states, cultural performances and a gala concert with the participation of cultural and artistic figures are planned.
