ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, extended warm greetings and felicitations to the people of Pakistan.
In his message, Ambassador Tukhtaev said, “August 14 is a day of pride and joy for every Pakistani, marking the historic moment in 1947 when Pakistan came into existence — a land founded on dreams and firm belief.” He expressed his wishes not only as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan but also as a friend and brother to the people of Pakistan.
The Ambassador praised Pakistan as a country abundantly blessed by nature and highlighted the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. He noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries continue to grow stronger through trade, culture, education, and connectivity.
Ambassador Tukhtaev expressed his prayers for Pakistan’s prosperity and stability, saying, “May the flag of Pakistan always fly high. Long live Pakistan, and long live Pakistan-Uzbekistan friendship.”
