After the assassination of Murtaza and his sister Benazir Bhutto it was rumored that perhaps Fatima daughter of Murtaza might step into their shoes but Zardari sprang a surprise by hoisting Bilawal as head of the PPP and tagging the word Zardari also along with the name of Bilawal.
Now Zulfiqar Bhutto junior son of Murtaza has jumped on the bandwagon of Sind’s politics and made it clear in so many words that he will carry forward the mission of his ancestors. This is going to change the complexion of politics in the country. Only Providence knows how will Zardari react to it as he has let it be known more than once his desire to see Bilawal as PM of the country before he closes his eyes for ever. He, like Maulana Fazlur Rehman, is a very shrewd politician who plays his cards cunningly . The political horse which Maulana bets on seldom loses the race for power and in the process he gets his pound of flesh also from the persons who enters citadel of power with JUI support. Zardari is for the moment holding his cards close to his chest.
