WNAM MONITORING: Turkmenistan will host an international conference and expo, the Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan (CIET 2025), with over 300 delegates from Japan, Türkiye, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries.
The event, CIET 2025, is set for Nov. 3-4 in the Awaza National Tourist Zone on the Caspian Sea coast. Organizers say it offers a key platform for local entrepreneurs to build global partnerships, with many foreign companies participating in Turkmenistan for the first time.
Confirmed high-level attendees include Eisaku Ito, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries; Ahmet Çalık, chairman of Çalık Holding; Erman Ilıcak, chairman of the executive board at Rönesans Holding; Tomohiro Takashina, director of the Turkmenistan office for Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.; and Richard Dion, senior adviser for partner outreach and donor relations at CONNEX Support Unit.
CIET 2025 will feature foundation-laying ceremonies for major infrastructure projects, interactive sessions on smart construction, clean energy, and sustainable industrial growth, and an exhibition showcasing new technologies. The event coincides with Turkmenistan’s Day of Construction and Industry Workers, adding a festive atmosphere to the business agenda.
