The recent laws introduced by the Taliban government in Kabul are downright retrogressive which, if, implemented, will push Afghanistan back  to the dark ages.  The Pakistan Ulema Council has very rightly taken timely  note of them and castigated the obscurantist Taliban leadership whose brainchild they are. The common man in this country expect religious chieftains of all  religio- political parties of the  country to follow suit and raise their voice against these laws also.

-Granted that a foreign hand might be behind the present political  turmoil  in Iran but the fact of the matter is that the Iranian clergy which rules the roost in Tehran too has  failed miserably to improve the economy of their country by introducing proper policies. There is no gainsaying the fact that it has become exceedingly difficult for the common man in Iran to meet two ends meet with his paltry income and this fact was exploited by those who want to topple the present leadership in Tehran.

-Washington’s  decision to impose 100 percent tariff on Canada if it entered into any trade agreement with Beijing will further isolate the US politically and enhance the influence of Beijing.  It goes without saying that America’ s loss is China’s gain,  America’s poison in China,’s meat.

-New Delhi is apprehensive that the American president might use the forum of Gaza Peace Board for hammering out a solution of Kashmir issue also  though many political observers consider that  as a remote possibility. The peace loving countries which have witnessed the horrific of second world war are worried that if immediate reforms weren’t undertaken in the charter of United nations like appointing a person as its general secretary who isn’t toothless and making a provision of placing  an independent force at his disposal for making good decisions of the UN it will lose confidence of the countries which are victims of excesses of  stronger countries. These reforms however can be undertaken only if China, America and Russia come on the same page, sink their differences in the larger interest of world peace and prevent the annihilation of humanity in case of a breakout of a world war as many countries are today equipped with nuclear weaponry which  is capable of wiping off the humanity.
