WNAM REPORT: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, President of Lake Shore Club and Patron for Interfaith Peace and Development Tourism, expressed complete solidarity with the people of Kashmir and strongly condemned Indian atrocities. He said that the Kashmiri people have been making unprecedented sacrifices for decades in their struggle for the right to self-determination, which cannot be ignored.
He emphasized that the Kashmir issue must be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions and that the international community must take immediate notice of grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He warned that the ongoing state oppression by India poses a serious threat not only to regional peace but also to global security.
Expressing full support for the principled stance of the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Armed Forces, and the Kashmiri leadership, he stated that the Pakistani nation will never abandon its Kashmiri brothers. He added that political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmiri people will continue at all levels.
