ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): OIC-COMSTECH and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Vocational Training of the Republic of Chad have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in science and technology. The agreement was signed by H.E. Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, and H.E. Pr. Reounodji Frederic, General Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Vocational Training of Chad. This agreement establishes a framework for technical assistance and capacity building aimed at supporting Chad’s research institutions and industrial development.
The collaboration includes various initiatives such as research fellowships, technical training for laboratory staff, and industrial internships to support professional development. The agreement also covers the exchange of medical expertise and the provision of technical services to help modernize local research facilities. Through joint workshops and scientific events, both parties aim to improve technical standards and provide Chadian researchers with better access to international scientific resources and expertise
