MAKKAH ( WNAM MONITORING): The Holy Qur’an Museum in the Hira Cultural District in Makkah is displaying a replica of the Kaaba’s door as an example of how creativity and spiritual values come together in Islamic civilization. The replica features verses from the Qur’an in Arabic calligraphy with Islamic decoration, rendered in a distinctive artistic style.

The original door dates back to the reign of the late King Khalid. It was made in 1979 from pure gold and features fine details and rich Islamic engravings — including verses from the Qur’an — which form an essential part of the design, reflecting the Kaaba’s status and sanctity in the hearts of Muslims.

The replica on display highlights the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, one of the most important Islamic arts historically associated with the writing of the Qur’an. The engraved verses are arranged in a balanced composition that reflects precision in design and a mastery of craftsmanship, alongside floral and geometric motifs that surround the text, giving it distinctive visual depth.
