WNAM REPORT: In a display of national pride and unity, Pakistan’s diplomatic missions across the globe observed the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq (The Battle of Truth), paying rich tributes to the unmatched valor and professional excellence of the Pakistan armed forces.
The ceremonies highlighted the resounding rejection of Indian aggression and a celebration of Pakistan’s resolute defence of its sovereignty during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos when the Pakistani forces proved themselves as an iron wall against nefarious designs, through a decisive response shattered Indian aggressive ambitions
The commemorations highlighted how Pakistan’s fearless armed forces defended the motherland with exemplary courage, besides conveying a clear message that any attempt to violate Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with a decisive response as it was one year ago.
Defence & Naval Adviser, Cdre. Jawad Khawaja SI(M) SBt. and Army & Air Adviser Col. Mohsin Waqar in their remarks stated that Pakistan’s defense forces, in exemplary unison, thwarted nefarious designs of the enemy and protected the sovereignty of Pakistan.
Minister (Press), Mr. Ali Nawaz Malik briefed the audience about effective measures taken by the Pakistan High Commission in keeping British media informed during Marka-e-Haq and presenting Pakistan’s firm & principled stance to counter false narrative propagated by India through media.
Representatives of Pakistani Community in UK paid glowing tributes to the Armed Forces of Pakistan, political leadership and the entire nation who stood resolute and united during Marka-e-Haq.
The gathering pledged that Marka-e-Haq will continue to unite the nation towards building a stronger and more resilient Pakistan.
RUSSIA
A ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow as a symbol of Pakistan’s unity, resilience, and commitment to regional stability.
Addressing the gathering, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation Faisal Niaz Tirmizi described Pakistan’s response during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos to Indian aggression one year ago as measured, lawful, and in line with international law.
He further highlighted the effective coordination among the political and military leadership through public support and unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The ceremony also featured addresses from the members of the Pakistani diaspora residing in Russia, who gathered to express a collective message of national unity.
Participants articulated a shared sense of solidarity, emphasizing their profound appreciation for the Civil Leadership and Pakistan Armed Forces and the role of diplomacy in maintaining commitment to peace and security in the region.
Furthermore, the attendees reaffirmed their unwavering confidence in the leadership of Pakistan, underscoring the diaspora’s commitment to the nation’s continued progress and prosperity.
To close the ceremony, guests were shown a documentary that chronicled the events of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.
BELGIUM
The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels held a commemorative ceremony, reaffirming the nation’s unwavering commitment to its security and sovereignty.
The event was attended by a large number of the Pakistani diaspora from across Belgium and Luxembourg, including prominent business leaders, students, and media representatives.
Commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, the ceremony was followed by the screening of a special documentary.
In his remarks, Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg Rahim Hayat Qureshi paid rich tribute to the visionary leadership of Pakistan, the valor of Pakistani Armed Forces, the resilience of the Pakistani people, and the vital role played by media organizations.
Ambassador Qureshi paid profound homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland.
He emphasized that the strength of the nation was rooted in unity and collective resolve—values that remain essential to Pakistan’s ongoing progress and stability.
The ambassador also commended the Pakistani diaspora for their constructive role in projecting a positive image of Pakistan abroad and strengthening people-to-people ties.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the martyrs and for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.
