RCCI Inks MoU with Pakistan American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce to Strengthen Pakistan-U.S. Trade Relations
The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in a significant step toward strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and business collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.
The MoU was signed and exchanged by RCCI President Usman Shaukat and PACCC President Naveed Anwar during a formal ceremony, reaffirming both organizations’ commitment to fostering stronger economic ties and creating new opportunities for businesses in both countries.
Under the agreement, both chambers will work jointly to promote bilateral trade and investment, facilitate market access for businesses into the U.S. and Chicago region, and provide guidance on regulatory compliance, export readiness, and international business standards. The partnership will also focus on encouraging joint initiatives, business delegations, networking opportunities, and enabling technology exchange, innovation, and capacity building for entrepreneurs and enterprises.
Speaking on the occasion, President Usman Shaukat termed the agreement a milestone in RCCI’s international outreach strategy, emphasizing that stronger institutional partnerships are essential to unlocking new trade avenues and supporting Pakistan’s business community in accessing global markets.
The collaboration reflects RCCI’s continued commitment to building global alliances, enhancing trade diplomacy, and creating sustainable economic opportunities for its members through strategic international partnerships.
