WNAM MONITORING: On the occasion of the opening of an exhibition and conference in honor of the 16th anniversary of the creation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the event with a congratulatory message.
In particular, the message says:
“In the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan is doing a lot of work to achieve the high goals of our time and implement state development programs. The significant growth over the past 16 years in the number of members of the Union, the success of private initiatives, and the expansion of the scope of activity of entrepreneurs are significant achievements of state policy in this area.”
The President noted that among the priority tasks for the implementation of the “Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024” is the further development of entrepreneurship and support for small and medium-sized businesses. As a result of vigorous efforts to solve these problems, the increase in the share of the private sector in the economy is 71.4 percent.
“This, in turn, is another evidence of the important role of the private sector in the growth of investment activity, the creation of modern enterprises, new production facilities, which is aimed at ensuring the abundance of the domestic market and increasing the country’s export potential, increasing employment,” the head of state noted.
Today, the activities of Turkmen businessmen in implementing state policy in the field of scientific and technological reforms, using the wide opportunities of the digital economy, developing industry, agriculture and the service sector in accordance with the requirements of the time are exemplary. Thanks to the conditions created by the state, they are consistently increasing the export of high-quality products produced at enterprises with modern technologies, capable of competing in foreign markets, and also achieving positive results in the development of international trade and economic partnerships.
“I am firmly convinced that our private entrepreneurs will continue to tirelessly promote the work begun in this direction and initiate large projects,” the President concluded, wishing the participants good health, family well-being, and great success in implementing reforms and programs.
