Dear young performers of our independent homeland,
I sincerely congratulate you on reaching the final stage of the “Çalsana, bagşy!” competition, held as part of the President of Turkmenistan’s “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” award!
The era of the new epoch of our powerful state is marked by successes in implementing large-scale programs and grand achievements that are fundamentally transforming the face of independent, neutral Turkmenistan.
Our sovereign homeland proposes initiatives for the benefit of all humanity. These receive broad support from the global community, thereby enhancing the country’s international standing.
Dear young bagshis,
Significant progress is observed in our national culture, as well as in other areas: measures are expanding for the development of Turkmen culture, arts, and literature, enriching them with contemporary works and strengthening the material and technical base of relevant institutions.
The “Çalsana, bagşy!” competition, part of the President of Turkmenistan’s “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” award, provides great opportunities for the development of national musical and singing arts, and for identifying and motivating young bashes. It is notable that the number of participants in this event increases every year.
For centuries, Turkmen people have created numerous songs. The very drive for creativity, particularly in vocal and instrumental arts, is inherent in everyone’s nature. Our ancestors highly valued and respected the art of singing and music. This is discussed in the significant work by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, “Bagshi – Heralds of the People’s Happiness.”
As Hero-Arkadag notes, the Turkmen soul holds boundless admiration for musical and singing arts and an inexhaustible love for it. Singing and music have become attributes of national celebrations, based on the harmony of the dutar, gijak, and tuyduk sounds that can bring true delight and inspire. Therefore, domestic performers at cultural events, both within the country and abroad, offer audiences unparalleled experiences through their wonderful works, including instrumental pieces, inspiring their hearts.
