WNAM MONITORING: A trade exhibition of Afghan products and a business forum will take place in Turkmenistan from February 23 to 27, featuring representatives from companies and entrepreneurs of the neighboring country interested in developing cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported on the preparation for this event during a regular Cabinet meeting on Friday, according to official media of Turkmenistan.
The event will discuss the development of mutually beneficial partnerships and opportunities for exporting Turkmen products to Afghanistan.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the exhibition and forum as a step toward strengthening Turkmen-Afghan ties. Supporting the initiative, the head of state instructed the deputy prime minister to ensure further preparation for the event.
The previous Turkmen-Afghan business forum and exhibition of Afghan goods took place from March 4 to 6 last year in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat.
