WNAM MONITORING: The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Pakistan Emmanuel Fernandez called on the Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of the situation in the region and expressed their common interest in stabilizing the situation and strengthening peace in Afghanistan.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov noted the Government’s commitment to implementing infrastructure and energy projects related to Afghanistan and providing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
Ambassador E. Fernandez highly appreciated the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, based on the principles of good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial partnership.
The parties expressed the interest of their governments in further strengthening bilateral, regional, and multilateral cooperation.
