WNAM MONITORING: National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reviewed development plans for the second phase of construction in the city of Arkadag, with a focus on social, cultural, and industrial infrastructure designed to support the growth of the country’s first “smart city”, as reported State news agency of Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented with sketches and plans for a new city park. According to Deryageldi Orazov, head of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City, the design includes landscaped recreational areas, children’s pathways, street lighting, and benches.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of maintaining architectural harmony, expressive design elements, and high-quality finishing materials. He offered a number of comments and suggestions to enhance the park’s layout and amenities.
Among the projects reviewed were a children’s amusement park, decorative gates for a mosque, and sculptures planned along Ahalteke Horses Avenue. The national leader emphasized that these elements should reflect traditional Turkmen architecture while aligning with modern urban planning standards.
At the conclusion of his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in the implementation of the second phase of construction and emphasized that each project plays an important role in shaping the image of the city of the future.
