Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING _ Between January and June 2025, 223,600 foreign nationals arrived in Uzbekistan for business purposes, according to the National Committee of Statistics.
This figure represents an increase of 158,600 people, or 3.4 times, compared to the same period last year.
The leading countries of origin were Afghanistan, with 207,536 visitors; Tajikistan, with 12,244; and Turkmenistan, with 1,642.
They were followed by Russia (451), Türkiye (276), and Kazakhstan (255). An additional 1,177 people arrived from other countries.
