ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): A meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad between Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Movlamov and Mohammed Uzair Rana, Founder and Chairman of the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Affairs. The parties discussed regional developments and Turkmenistan’s foreign policy initiatives.
The Turkmen side presented its neutrality-driven foreign policy and infrastructure projects aimed at promoting peace and cooperation. The discussion highlighted potential cooperation in energy, including the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP power transmission line projects.
These projects could boost economic development, diversify energy routes, and deepen integration in South and Central Asia. Rana noted their importance for Pakistan’s socioeconomic growth and energy ties with Turkmenistan.
The parties agreed to maintain dialogue and strengthen bilateral ties.
