ISTANBUL: A delegation of the Islamabad Founder Lions Club met with Lion Cemile Sünlü, District Governor, Lions Clubs International District 118-T, Istanbul, to explore avenues for closer cooperation in humanitarian service and community welfare.
The delegation comprised Former President Muhammad Naveed Malik, Charter President Islamabad Gazania Lions Club Fareeha Ghezwan, Charter Member M. Ashfaq Hussain Chatha, and Ziauddin Zia. Discussions focused on joint initiatives for children’s welfare, community service, humanitarian assistance and other social projects.
The delegation also extended a cordial invitation to District Governor Lion Cemile Sünlü to visit Islamabad, expressing hope that such exchanges would further strengthen institutional and people-to-people ties between Lions Clubs of Pakistan and Türkiye.
The meeting marked a meaningful step towards promoting friendship, mutual cooperation and the shared Lions commitment to humanitarian service under the enduring spirit of “We Serve.”
