WNAM MONITORING: Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, the heads of state highlighted the dynamic development of bilateral multi-faceted cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
The sides discussed the progress in implementation of the agreements previously reached during the Russian President visit to Astana last November and recent working visit of the Kazakh leader to Kazan. They also reiterated the importance of further effective promotion of joint projects, particularly in energy, transit and logistics fields.
The leaders of Kazakhstan and Russia also touched upon the most pressing issues of international agenda during the call.
